Kristi's love of technology goes back to the tender age of 11, when her brother plunked a Packard Bell on the dining room table. Next to the computer was a note with a Gopher username and password, as well as directions about how to log into something called a MUD. Henceforth there were a lot of summer days spent glued to a telnet client.
While studying Russian journalism in graduate school, Kristi watched technology change the nature of journalism and academics. That caused her to enter the working world rather than continuing on to obtain a PhD. Kristi started out in web content management and became a Jill of All Trades working in project management, user experience, marketing and a number of other things.
Eventually Kristi ended up balancing the worlds of web content strategy and user experience. In her free time, Kristi loves to bike, read, laugh, eat chocolate, drink coffee, take pictures and spend time with family. She also has an uncanny ability to judge the relative humidity in the air; just look at the curliness of her hair.
