Dez's computer career started when he deleted the dairy farm records from his dad's desktop via the command line to make room for Space Invaders. He eventually became the assistant network administrator for his high school...as a sophomore. In 2001, he started testing web applications for a local e-commerce company and -- with the exception of a 2.5 year stint as a guard and computer repair teacher at a Minnesota prison -- has been testing ever since.
Dez also enjoys teaching piano lessons, taking pictures of his three cats, blogging, dabbling in online community management, and emailing developers about the bugs he finds in their software. He blogs at iamdez.com.
