President Bill Clinton proclaimed June to be Gay and Lesbian Pride Month in the United States in 2000. In 2009, President Barack Obama amended it to LGBT Pride Month. No matter what you call it, being proud of who you are is something to celebrate. So, we present our June wallpaper, in honor of Pride month.

Back in March we hosted a Clockworkshop focusing on how to design applications for the iPhone and iPad. Targeted at designers, we began with an introduction to iOS design and and then broke out into groups to create artwork for one of our simple iPhone apps called Slydology.

Earlier this year at the National Bike Summit in Washington DC, the League of American Bicyclists recognized Clockwork as a 2011 Bicycle Friendly Business winner. The Bicycle Friendly Business (BFB) program recognizes employers’ efforts to encourage a more bicycle friendly atmosphere for employees and customers. The program honors innovative bike-friendly efforts and provides technical assistance and information to help companies and organizations become even better for bicyclists.

For this week's biker profile we're highlighting our crew of riders from the MS150 this last weekend. For the third year in a row we made the 150 mile trip from Proctor, MN (near Duluth) to Century College in White Bear Lake. It was our biggest crew yet with 23 riders. Altogether we raised $14,611.29 to go towards multiple sclerosis research.

A Request for Proposal (RFP) is a common way to initiate a web project. The idea is that all of the basic information can be presented in advance to solution providers and the resulting proposals can be evaluated by some objective criteria. Unfortunately, this process is deeply flawed and often leads decision makers away from good decisions.
Here's our advice for writing an RFP.

Summer. has. finally. hit. us. I'm declaring it, so deal with it. For this entire month, I want nothing but beautiful sunny days. But the best part about a sunny day? The gorgeous summer sunrises and sunsets. Watching the sky change colors has always been a huge pleasure for me, and I took inspiration from this naturally occurring awesomeness for this month's wallpaper. It's double wide for maximum dual-monitor glory.
