A Clockworker in Vegas

|  posted on 1/5/10 by Whitney Shaw

It's time again for all the nerdy electronics innovators to descend upon Las Vegas for CES 2010!

I'll be attending this year, reporting daily from the thick of it all. I'll be posting reports on my personal blog and tweeting from the event (you can follow me here).

I'm planning to attend Social Media Jungle, Reinventing Advertising, Mobile Entertainment, and many other Super Sessions. Additionally, I'll be walking the conference floor, attending various tweet-ups, and scoring as much free swag as possible for my fellow Clockworkers.

Wish me luck!

And the follow up? CES is or has become an exercise in hum drum. Haven't been for years but it just doesn't generate the same exictement in me that it did a few years back. I suppose some of this has to do with all electronics being previewed, reviewed, and then re reviewed online now. Seems to make most of the CES announcements pretty unexciting. I followed this years show pretty closely online but just was underwhelmed by most everything. What excites me in the world of electronics right now is Panasonic is very close to releasing their G2H with shutter less design. Other than that a very slow year.

We're constantly talking to each other about what's new: a project we're working on, a new site we're obsessed with, or some other geekery. We figured, why not share those conversations with you?

Welcome to our collective mind.
